MIFF 2024 Post Show Report: Key Takeaways and Highlights
The 30th edition of the Malaysian International Furniture Fair (MIFF) was held from March 1 to 4, successfully connecting exhibitors and buyers. This year featured a record 715 exhibitors from 15 countries and regions, connecting with global buyers seeking high-quality household and commercial furniture.
As Southeast Asia’s largest B2B furniture trade show, MIFF attracted 5,419 international attendees from 120 countries, a 6% increase from last year, with total orders reaching US$1.28 billion. The Asian market saw a 68% rise in attendance, with first-time visitors making up 43% of the 19,213 total attendees.
Spanning 100,000 sqm at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) and World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL), the show showcased a diverse range of contemporary furniture. The new MIFF Furniverse app enhanced the visitor experience, while a virtual tree campaign promoted environmental efforts.
